Congratulations to our client Rob Ford!
Campaign Research would like to congratulate our client Rob Ford, the next mayor of the great city of Toronto!
From designing a campaign plan, to using the latest direct voter contact techniques from distributed voter ID, tele-townhalls and polling, Campaign Research gave Ford the edge during the 8 month campaign for the mayoralty of Canada’s largest city.
The Globe and Mail wrote about how Campaign Research helped seed the plan that would ultimately bring Ford his success, “Richard Ciano, a Conservative operative and Mr. Kouvalis’s partner in the strategy firm Campaign Research, signed on in the spring to draft the Ford campaign plan.”
We tested key messages that connected with a disenfranchised electorate, entrenched our candidate in a winning message track and focused on building our vote, “Mr. Kouvalis and Mr. Ciano picked some buzzwords that tested well in focus groups – the “gravy train” was one – and dispatched Mr. Ford to single-mindedly deliver a message about respect for tax dollars.
Meantime, Mr. Kouvalis obsessed about voter identification.” Campaign Research used state-of-the-art tactics to win for our client, “As the first Canadian general election campaign to employ telephone town halls, the Ford camp places robo-calls to every land line in a particular area inviting voters to take part in a call-in “show” with the folksy councillor.”
The Globe and Mail concluded, “If he manages the once unimaginable and gets Mr. Ford elected mayor of Canada’s largest city, Mr. Kouvalis really will have it made.”
At Campaign Research we’re in it to win, we win for our clients and we’re eager to win it for you.
